What is needed to become a Pop Warner Cheer or Dance Coach?
1. Background Authorization for Leon County
Pop Warner programs nationwide are required to annually conduct a background check of: Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and-or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players and-or spirit participants. The purpose of these background checks is, first and foremost, to protect the children.

3. Southeast Region Hands On Cheer/Dance Clinic (Dates TBA)
Pop Warner/YCADA rules for all age groups in cheer and dance. It will also have our cheer and dance coaches up on their feet learning and demonstrating the latest cheer and dance moves, jumps, motions, stunts, pyramids and so much more.
The hands-on clinic is a mandatory full day event and is good for 3 years.
4.YCADA –Pop Warner Cheer/Dance On-Line Training
Contact your Association Cheer and Dance Coordinator for instructions on how to register for the required training.
